Housings are made of closed grain cast iron whereas for larger sizes stress relieved and shot blasted M.S Fabricated housings are used.
For maximum gear efficiency they are carburized, hardened, tempered and subsequently flank ground an accuracy of DIN Class 5/6.

Additional cooling devices like fan cooling, cooling coil, and external heat exchanger are provided as per thermal power limitation.

Geared Motors Unit

make geared motors are composite unit, compact, sturdy and totally enclosed.

The nominal output shaft speeds are according to R 20 series of preferred numbers. Geared Motors can be offered for fixed output speeds from 18 to 355 RPM with 4 pole electric motor. The motor capacity ranges from 0.18 KW to 110 KW. Geared Motors less than output speeds of 18 RPM are offered with combination Geared Motor units.

Worm Speed Reducers are compact, enclosed and are sturdy constructions combining rigidity and strength. Standard Fan Cooled Worm Speed Reducers are made from 11/8" centers to 24" centers and the ratio ranging from 10/1 to 70/1 and Horse Power Capacities up to 200 H.P.

Aerator and Agitator Gear Unit

• ‘EA’ and ‘EP’ Series gear units are specifically designed for Aerator and Agitator applications. The helical gears are designed and manufactured such that most favorable balance is achieved between strength, surface durability ratings, noise level and efficiency.
